Found this in eastern pa

As hoping somebody could identify it. Found it in a creek. I was hoping maybe it could be part of a treasure chest







There's a metal ring as well but I'll post that a little later. They aren't railroad spikes either

Do early maps or history place a bridge in area of finds?

Fence or rail spikes 20p - 30p usually

There actually is a more modern bridge not far upstream.

They are just large square spikes. Nice nails.

When found, the spikes were facing each other but about a foot apart, and in between them was a metal ring about 2 inches across
