My wife would be out the door so fast looking for a new house and I'd probably be right behind her lol

Yeesh, how did you kill it? I would be tempted to use a shotgun, inside or out for something that big.

5 foot diamond back --nasty critter...

I found glycerin keeps those skins supple.

GOD Bless

Chris

wow that freaking big. i have had my run in with those here. yes they are displayed in my living room. They are not that as big but scary just the same lol

Not very often that dinner delivers it's self! I hope you had a look around make sure it was flying solo.

Wow, game well played.

I sure hope you had time for coffee before you found that thing. Wow, what a wake up that must have been.

Gosh, I'm glad it hadn't snuck into a dark corner before you spotted it - Yikes!!!

i don't even like to think about that happening.. So how do you dispatch something like that in your house and is this the first time this has happened?

I'd rather find a grizzly bear in my closet or an 18' croc in my bathroom....no I'm serious. Those suckers scare me.

I'm interested in how you killed it too. Outside I use .22 CCI rat/snake shot TWICE! Inside on tile, that wouldn't be an option.

Helps keep the bad guys out !!

I've found one or two black snakes in the house but NEVER a rattler; and I'm thankful for that. We don't have them where I live; just Copperheads.
It's a really good thing it didn't find you first.
