🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Found this in woods NE IN, 1870 era farmhouse, it's copper 1/4" wide, has 2 very small holes on one end&1 on the other. Any ideas? Thanks

The size and spacing reminds me of the paper strips for cap guns. I wonder if it was a tool used to make them. Probably not, just a wild stab.

Having a hole on either end.
It looks like a decorative strip that was attached to something.

It has the late Victorian design look to it.
