Looks like a fish.

A picture of the back will help us determine what it is and a picture of any manufacturer markings on the back will help us date it.

I see links on the bottom. Is something cut out of the picture?

It just looks like part of a fancy Victorian era watch fob. :icon_scratch: I don't think it's a medal, they don't usually have rhinestones on them.

Reminds me of some kind of submariners medal. Monty

I agree with diggummup, I don't think it is a medal. It could be part of a fob chain, interesting tho.. :icon_scratch:

here is the back, i dont see any markings of any kinds. I figure its nothing but I found a civil war button at the same site just last weekend and after some research this fall it was a civil war training camp. I am just wanting to make sure its not civil war era

there is a link and something missing off of it, not sure what was there

Very interesting :icon_thumright:. But I join 'not medal' club. Might be a part of a fob or of some trinket.
