I FOUND THIS STONE IN BACK YARD. I HAVE FACETED THE STONE MYSELF
WANTED TO KNOW WHAT KIND OF ROCK THIS IS THANKS

A piece of facet cut Brecciated Jasper that popped out of a ring or pendant? I'll take all the BS this link has with a grain of salt, but it's sure an interesting concept for just a rock.

I'm so sorry ma'am. My all to often oversight when I read in to things got me, again . I just read "rock found in backyard" I didn't go on to see that the most excellent shaping of the stone was done by your hand. What a great job you did. Even better you found a stone that by some opinions, as I'm not so sure?, has some very interesting mystical properties attached to it, plus like so many rocks posted here of little interest and that are just no more than "A common RocK" yours is a known Simi precious gemstone.
