Greetings....still can't MD for another week so decide to go treasure hunting in thrift stores.The first one I went to, I ran into this metal detector.And of course bought it for 10.00.It works great...has ground balance and disc.

I could not find it on the internet.First Texas Manufacturer,Tracker??
Any feedback would be cool....I'm thinking the 80s.
It is now...110 outside and rising here in Southern CA.

I can't believe the dept on this thing.And the sensitivity super.I don't think it will Handel the beach well,I will see.Will take it prospecting see what happens.I know it will pay for itself.

here is my modded one..........i changed out some pots on mine.......and it does'nt like the new ones........i need to order some replacement pots.

i have found stuff with it........but it is heavy...new shaft is better.....though, i found my first silver with it!!!!

Close....same modelTreasure tracker, yours looks more heavy duty.I think they changed the one I found, with plastic. Is your case plastic or metal??

This one don't seem heavy, but then again I'm use to a minelab machine.
I love the functions for an older model, the disc is right one.I'm taking it up the mountains and really give it a test run.

Mine is plastic.......with metal shaft.....I think it was a Fingerhut model, I have modded the power switch, and the shaft, and three pots......I love the old "Blaattt-Bleeettt" tone ......more info...

Yep...that is it.Picked up my gold ring at 7-8 inches air test. Wow!!! and sensitive was at half?
I was told it works well at beaches too.Will see.
