Found this tonight, Latin buckle? Looks old.

Hey all I found this item this evening during a short hunt. Look like it is made of copper and it has a weird latin phrase on it. Any ideas?

Hello ryann21, On line I've been able to find this on ebay regarding a button with the same Latin inscription and figure,

Do-Cen-Do Dis-Ci-Mus, Ex Ni-Hi-Lo Ni-HilFit,..."We learn by teaching, from nothing comes nothing." Various sites suggest that it is either a WW 1 military belt or a Masonic motto. Best of luck, Sub
