🔎 UNIDENTIFIED Found today in 1910 railroad logging camp

[highnam]

Found today in a 1910 railroad logging camp.
Size of a cell phone, very thin with oak leaves, photo of the backside shows some fabric still attached.
Thought it might be a journal cover, welcoming any other ideas.

Took me a minute to realize the key found near the journal cover might actually be the key to unlock the journal. Okay!!
