Found while bottle hunting.....

I don't usually bottle hunt ...but saw some people on our land bottle hunting and thought I'd give it a try. I was diiging out what I could see was an intact bottle when two unusual items popped out of the dirt. One is the rock pictured below....Sorry for the lousy picture quality but it has a "vein" of white metal running thru the center of it. Its not very large (pictured next to computer mouse) but it was fun to find. The other is a carved flower brooch that turns out to be ivory. I will post a picture when I get back in town. Both were fun to find....Happy hunting!!

and old saying from scotland, the land you own is where the treasure is.
better get the detector out and check your land. you never can tell. there may have been an old cabin site with a dump area or an indian camp site around.
