Looks like the back side of an old cuff link to me.

You will have to test it sasks to make sure. Looks like gold but a lot of things do when you want them to! Kinda does look like it fit over a tooth though by the impression in it. Good luck!

Sure looks like gold to me I would be surprised if it wasn't. What it sound off as on detector?

That is cool! Did you have it tested???

Not yet I will take to my local jewler I know and see what it is, was told if it was dental gold it was 16k , just rechecked and rings in at solid 54

that is def where gold can ring up I hope it is gold let us know.

Dental gold is good too. I found a gold crown once and wish I kept it for my collection instead of selling it. Heck I didn't even take a pic of it.

Ok had it to jewler and he said it was indeed dental gold , and tested it (for a cost!!) and was 16k gold
On another hunt with pro this is what I for today

awesome congrats I haven't seen anyone on here telling about finding dental gold. I know where I could get a bunch of it without a detector just need a shovel lol just kidding. Awesome find though.

LOL, Kodiak you have me rolling on the floor. LOL!

Ok guys now this seems odd , did someone get there teeth knocked out at the tot lot? Found 4 more peices in same area al rang in the 54-56 range , hmm maybe a shovel was involved lol Sent from my iPhone using TreasureNet

Wonder if these were from a gold "grill" ? Are they solid or hollow?

Wayne

Ok just came back from tot lot and in about 45 minutes found this , some of these peices where in recent pictures, this is all of it together , and on way home I went to gifts of gold our local jewler and got a second opinion and after testing yes same as first jewler said solid gold around 16k Where would of this came from, iam guessing it went through the wood/rubber chipper and cut it into all these peices? All those peices weigh 18.9 grams

That's exactly what happened! I find chunks of aluminum and copper that look just like that in the tot lots by me. Maybe a big class ring from the guy running the chipper? Check the next closest tot lot in the same school district, they usually chip a batch and spread it out the same day.

Yes my guess as well , it all looks twisted, that one peice looks kinda identifiable with the lines on it, kinda like an old pocket watch whee the winder goes through cause there is a notch going through it , glad I can share this find with you guys!
