It has thirteen stars around edge. The eagle is holding an anchor. The back mark says extra quality. Can someone please help identify this button for me. Thanks. Found in same area as the c s buckle a while back. Happy hunting.

I can't confirm for sure but I believe it's a confederate navy button.

Haven't cleaned it very much but it says extra rich. What is an average price range on this button. I never sell my finds just wondering.

Well there aren't a lot out for sale. But my guess would be the 3 to 5 hundred range depending on how the clean up. They are English made buttons. And it looks like you are one or two off of a full coat.
