A frame of chert, bone and wood...Pics.2-3-4 are of a carved wood object, no thoughts now as to what it is...Pi’s.5-6 is a composite bone object intact with pitch showing,no comment on this one either, From the Santa Fey River in 72. Pretty cool stuff HP. I like the staining on them. Artifact 5 and 6 looks like a miniature atlatl even though that's not what it is?

Couldn't tell you what they are, but definably very nice artifacts.

Just awesome
First pic, tool on the right, how is that piece of rock (?) held into the handle?
Same question on the last picture, how are those sealed if sealed is correct term

More explanation in part B of this frame..In cases where most everything that was hafted pitch was used.

That’s what it looks like to me,but I don’t think antler tines are hollow,I’m thinkin another type bone

No, they're not hollow but they are more porous inside which will deteriorate faster than the outside. That less dense material can also be drilled out / removed easier.

Ishi-Stick Antler Tip, Awls and a Bow-Drill Holder (Bone piece?)
Just guessing...love a mystery

Early pencil sharpener (just kidding)

Love the look of the frame HP
The hafted pitch reference-made for a nice rabbit hole of reading. Work with a lot of Linseed, Pine tars, Beeswax mixtures, shellac flacks, natural varnish.
