I went to a different lake today, spent two hours there prospecting, found this stuff.

Then I hit Wendy's for a "spicy chicken", took the boat home and went to my lake for this.

Gotta run, there is a whistle pig in a live trap at my dads house, after dinner I have to relocate him.

Enjoy the pix

I am surprised you didn't hit "your lake" all day. Guess you just needed a change of scenery... Nice finds. I see your honey hole is still producing.

Did you say War Nickel? OD ain't gonna like this

Always good to have more then one good spot to hunt!! Like the Silver medallion!!

When we relocate whistle pigs its usually with a .22 cause they are in the garden

Cool finds yet again brad but what the heck is a whistle pig

Sweet!!! More great finds!!! Keep them coming!

The other lake has a few different spots on it that could very well be much older, the digging today at the first new lake is much much easier. I'm always prospecting, looking for an easier softer way.

It was the very last signal, I kept hearing just a little silver, one more scoop, then I leave. Up pops a War Nickel!

Did you notice the shape it is in and the shape of the other coins. The nickel was a 1959, nice shape. I think the water is much nicer to the coins there?

I could do that here at my house, but not my dads.

Excellent haul.

I like 'em all but I really like that silver medallion.

Nothing like having a couple lakes full of silver and gold!!

Silver is always Sweet but, have to say that medallion is really Sweet.

Congrats on yet another Great hunt!!

Now you're just showing off! Very nice Catholic medallion Brad. We called ground hogs that in Ky too.

Congrats on your hunt!

Never had a Wendy's spicy...but can recommend Chic-Fil-A's variety.

HH and may all your whistle pig's be relocated:)

Great finds your still hauling in the silver!

I've helped about 7 of those things move and I still have one in my yard every year! I had to move my little garden and put mint plants around it. I even put moth balls under the shed, didn't help.

They are pretty, but I'm liking the token better, just because it's the Scoville button co. One

I love the Chic-fil-a's version, but I was towing my boat and would not have been able to do there drive through, I have relocated seven whistle pigs I hope they are not like Lassie

They are today's nuisance animal, maybe I'll start a ground hog removal service! I wouldn't have time to do it, I have to hunt for treasure

While not as historically significant as the Bryan dollar someone found a few weeks ago and posted, today I learned what a whistle pig is!

Great stuff, TH. Loves me the war nickels!
