First find with AT Pro!! (Just got it from Bart at BBH. AAA+++ customer service.) I found this pin at a central Indiana home built in 1915. I had hammered this area with my delta 4000, lots of iron trash. The at pro hit this solid at 8 inches. Appears to be gold. The Greek letters for sigma nu are on the sides making me think it is a fraternity pledge pin? Any ideas on era, value etc.
Would be appreciated.
Thank
Rusty

from what I have found I believe it is a fraternity. sigma NU. I've attached the link. if you do a google image search on sigma NU symbols you'll find several similar symbols that it uses. ie. crossed swords snake and Sigma N.

Thanks for the reply. I couldn't find a match. Always think it's fun trying to figure out what year the finds are from. Often impossible. Thanks again.
