French Colonial Oil Lamp?

Was detecting at an 18th century cellar hole in Central Jersey where years ago had found a Colonial French Navy Button. Went back over the weekend and dug several relics, this lamp-fixture piece being one of them. I'm assuming this is french since I found the button in the same spot, plus the fact that this lamp has a fleur de lis design on it. Would love to hear anyone's thoughts as to what exactly this is. Thanks!!!!

Good ID. I think the fleur-de-lis is just a design not necessarily French.

Heres is another example from TN. They were very ornate and the Fleur di lis design was common.
