Got into the water around 6:20am. About an hour in, I dug the metal piece, just because it was the first signal. Didn't get a good hit until almost 8:00, when I went as deep as I could. It was the matchbox car. Then a soda can. The quarter was next, just before my first water ring for the year. A .925 and chunky. After a bit, the phone, zincoln and an old shoe came up. That was it for 3 hrs. As I was leaving the lifeguard coming on duty told me that someone else had lost an I-phone near the buoys, but I was at my chin (I'm 6'6"), and still short of the buoys by 20 feet. It was hard to dig in the mud and stay above water.

That ring is awesome. I've found a few silver rings, but none as nice or as large as that. Nice work!
