Superb finds, the Plautilla is remarkable

Wow! Completely blown away. Thats Banner quality for condition alone. :headbang:

holy crap that thing is pristine! I was happy finding a 1957 silver US dime last week. Can't imagine finding such a spectacular piece as yours. As mentioned above, this is a potential banner-worthy find!

Amazing the history you have to dig over there. Grats to ya and thanks for sharing.

Congrats on a superior find,,
I can't imagine finding stuff like that in The Bronx

Congratz! Your country has such a long rich history!

Wow and wow. Exceptional finds.

We think we have an old coin when we find an 1850 or so....hard to imagine a Roman coin thousands of years old...Good job with those goodies!!!

That's a banner find you have. The Empress was eventually exiled and ordered strangled by her husband.

Spectacular find soapy, and the condition is outstanding.

all VERY excellent Finds!!!
WOW!
The condition of the coins are superb!

I'm always amazed with the finds that get posted from " across the pond". Really spectacular. Congratulations on some fantastic finds in fantastic condition. HH

That first Roman coin is over the top condition wise.

Regards + HH

Empress Plautilla is a absolutely exquisite find. Congrats!

Congrats

Dads thoughts:

Oldsoapy has a great Plautilla and a denarius which I think is similar to the following

Severus Alexander 225 AD. IMP C M AVR SEV ALEXAND AVG, laureate, draped bust right / PM TR P IIII COS P P, Mars walking right, holding spear and trophy.

Sears 7898

Many thanks to your Dad , l think its Severus Alexander too. funny how two coins found in the same field not too far apart can be in so different condition. the Plautilla is pristine and the Severus is almost flakey. must be the quality of the metal perhaps.

Yes, many of our Sev Alex. are debased silver.
