i was talking to my manager on friday and we had a talk about coins and silver etc. i told him about my Ben find and gave him one since he is such an avid collector(buys his stuff) and needed that year for his collection(thats not brown nosing is it? :dontknow:) anyway he turns to another co-worker and says "i think George is full of $#!^ with these finds....i don't believe you can find all that at the bank" he was just busting my chops because i think he tried CRH a few times and couldn't find any halfs....of course you didn't dummy you live in the heart of my hunting area....not many are getting by me here....anyway i said to him "i'll go to a bank or 2 and come right back with halfs"....little did he know but i had just found out about a bank that just got robbed that i didn't hit before as it was tucked away in the "badlands"....so i hit the bank and the teller says"i have one" shoot....ok i'll take it ....then another teller says "i have 2 rolls" both handrolled ;D

wow it sure felt great to find silver halfs again....almost forgot what it felt like.
so i go back to the boss and show him the rolls and then opened them back up to show him the silver inside roll #2
he says "unbelievable....that fast you found them?"
i love it when a plan comes together ;D
i suggested he try over the bridge in Jersey( sorry guys if your over the Walt Whitman or Ben Franklin but boss or no boss i'm not giving up any of my banks so he can find some)
knowing him he still won't go looking....too much money (he buys what he wants) and not enough time due to his schedule...so he isn't a threat
anyway HH

I tried Camden once. Too hard to even get inside the banks there. You go in one set of doors and have to wait until it closes before the inner set will open. Then the teller has to push a button to let you out.

yeah Camden is a little rough....but i have the same thing in certain areas of Philly too....at one they ask you on an intercom what you want and only then do they let you in....there are also banks there that close before dark every day...i would like to try Cherry Hill though...seen quite a few banks on Rt 70 that look promising

I never did Cherry Hill. We went through Haddon Heights once. I got 2 silver dimes from the reject tray at one bank there.

Hmm....I don't think anyone's reported tat variety before......
you got me G...i realized my mistake after i was logged off.since my laptop is down i didn't have a way to correct it till now
