Found this just yesterday hunting on pasture inbthe west riding of Yorkshire. Absolutely useless with guns and ammo stuff being a disarmed Limey. Is it part of an old musket or something completely different?

Kind of looks like a part if a musket.
Though I have a feeling that it's part of a latch. Possibly off a window or cabinet door.
