This mornig we find these objects in german and USA trenches in Salerno battlefield. Some idea about these objects?

Fragments of MG42?

Alluminium painted black. I think is part of a radio. Some idea?

Greetings Matteo Hard to tell what some of those finds are because of picture size . Some are easy to ID ,like the web belt hangers . Great that you found some of these relics :icon_thumleft: The USA lost 2000 soldiers ,KIA, fighting for Salerno . Canada and UK lost many soldiers , as well . They were up against Herman Goering Div. and 10th Panzer Div. Find more history and be careful .. 8) 8) CMD

Awesome to be able to see some American history from this angle. Keep @ it and mostly be safe.

Thanks gunny71 , that's better, pic 6 looks like an M1928A1 receiver pic 7 is a piece of smg knurled actuator .. damaged but still is something seeing these relics after 67 years in the dirt 8) 8) dawg
 

Nice relics. First pic is MG42 for sure. Look for the other parts! Second pic i didnt know, but the marks are german. Toothpaste german as well.
