That's right, no silver today, I hunted very hard, very physical, under porches, up and down hills, and I must of walked a couple of miles too. Funniest part was at 7:30am I look up and there are two deer standing there staring at me at thirty yards! (just in case you didn't read my other thread, I told everyone that I was giving up my deer hunt to go metal detecting instead!) I'm still happy with my finds yesterday and I have learned in life to be grateful for what I have. It was another beautiful day to be alive and healthy enough to metal detect. Almost every hole I dug was very exciting until I figured out that this spot has been hit hard also over the years. One thing, tonight through the night we are supposed to get some rain, and where I'm still pretty green at this hobby, I'm real curious to see if it will make a difference in whether I find silver or not tomorrow. I'm going to hit close by the areas that I found the silvers yesterday first and see if it makes a difference. I posted the pic because I just wanted to show its not a cake walk out there, garbage wise that is only less than half of what I dug in my 5hr hunt, the rest is in my truck waiting for me to depose of it properly.
Thanks for looking and HH everyone!

No silver, but it looks like you had a good time and found a few goodies to make it all worth while. Just being able to get out and dig would be a bonus for me right now.

Some days, and some places are like that. There is one school I hunted regularly for a couple of years, and it was a good hunt if I found a modern quarter or to. Then one day I dug a seated dime, just a couple inches under the surface. Sometimes it's just luck.
