Recently I’ve found in an old location a few interesting artifacts. On a high hill along a road that was used for a long time in a forest of oaks and beeches I’ve found a bronze battle ax dating from the Middle Bronze Age (XX-XII centuries BC). Also I found a very nice engraved and well preserved silver thimble - late medieval (XVIII-XIX centuries) , a silver Roman denarius - Hadrianus (117-138) IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG / P M TR COS III , an medieval spur and iron key (XVI-XVII centuries) , a roman spearhead , a fragment of a roman bronze mirror , a mysterious bronze object probably roman..

Enjoy ! :hello:

Congrats.Thats some cool finds you got there.HH

Could the mystery piece be a mold of some sort?
We dig all that roman stuff out here in Colorado all the time, I should know this stuff by now!
That battle axe would be one of my most cherished finds, it's a beauty!
Kudos!
Carl

I like the coin, but that thimble is killer. I love thimbles for some reason and that one is pretty awesome.

Great finds! Thanks for sharing...

Great finds for sure Mate, with great pictures, I'm amazed at the lack of replies to such fantastic ancient finds...the new age of TreasureNet :sadsmiley:

Wow! Those are some incredible finds!! I love that battle axe, the spear point and the Roman silvers!

I am in awe of the battle axe - what an amazing recovery! Not every day that you see one of those posted. I'm voting banner. Very impressive display of finds spanning over 2000 years.

Thanks guys :hello:

Great post again! You start pulling Bronze Age artefacts on a daily basis! Amazing! Not that you can compare, but i like the thimble too!

More personal congrats:thumbsup: Nice silver thimble. From the design I'd say it has some age on it.

The depth of history over where you're at makes me jealous. And your finds are really something.

Awesome Relics

Could you imagine detecting a field and finding everything from Julius Caesar's gladius to a 6-pack of Billy Beer? WHY COULDN'T THE ROMANS HAVE MADE IT TO THE AMERICAS?!!! WHY?!!!!
