Frozen In Time: Fossil Amber

Here is a piece of amber that was given to me when I was younger.

For those that did not know, amber is fossilized tree resin; sap that has hardened, entombing whatever
gets caught in the sticky mess.

A very small fly, no more then a speck to the naked eye comes into view.
but for this little guy, my camera needs some help from my stereoscopic microscope
