Full tones or pitch?

If its anything like the original deus, full tones is based on the VDI (Higher VDI = higher pitch sound)and pitch is more of a proximity thing (closer the target is to the coil the higher the pitch)

Pitch has it's place and if I run it I usually use a bit of discrimination so that iron doesn't give a higher more desirable target tone. I personally would rather hear the conductivity vs proximity.

Still working on learning the XPD2. What seems to work better hunting in square nail beds?
I would run Pitch......full tones has been known to "down average" a good target (coin, VDI 90+) next to iron......I've also seen tests where pitch will separate better as well....I haven't run full tones in 5 plus years....that's just me though.
