As posted numerous times before, "initials only" mavericks are tough to attribute with any degree of certainty. Your best bet would be to head to the city directory of your local library and peruse the "P" section. Hopefully you will find someone listed with those initials and having a business appropriate to the type of token (saloon, pool hall, cigar store, etc.). The odds are somewhat better for it to be from the area where it was dug. It could be from most anywhere, though...

Thanks John!

This maverick was dug in a very rural setting so I thought I'd take a shot and see if anyone had noted one in their past finds from the northern Illinois area. With no town listed, it's a long shot I know.
