C.V. Hill made refrigerators and freezers (ice boxes) as well as display cases and fixtures... Hard to say which this would have been on.

There is reference to a G. V.Hill (not Mill) & Co. on page 2 of the Nov.30, 1933 issue of the "Bernardsville (New Jersey) News"
at this site:
  1. [h=3]Bernardsville News from Bernardsville, New Jersey · Page 2[/h]https://www.newspapers.com/newspage/95686862/

... Association; Bernardsville, Barker & Hig«ins; Bound Brook, Apgar Coal and Grain Co.; Far Hills, L. V. Ludlow Co.; Gladstone, G. V. Hill & Co.; Milliligton, A. I).
    Don....

Thanks for the link Don, but forewarning everyone about the site - $79.95 per year after free trial. I closed the page, but now they have my e-mail addy which equals more spam in my mailbox. I read the whole "sign up" page and it said nothing about the charges. Certainly a great source of info - if you're heavy into that kind of research.
