Galena possibly?

[mn9000]

Very pretty , and very heavy-- almost 6 pounds

[fuss]

Sure looks like it, where did you find it? should have a gray to dark gray streak and you would be able to scratch it easily with a knife or pin.

[mn9000]

We found it in a big box of rocks and minerals while cleaning out my late grandfathers storage shed here recently. Never even knew he was a collector!

[smokeythecat]

Yes, I'd say galena. Nice.

[IAMZIM]

[hvacker]
