At the end of summer we would take the 4H kids and families to Huntington Beach and boil fresh corn on the cob, with husks on, in garbage cans filled with sea water.
Its well seasoned by the sea water and to eat you just roll the husk back for a handle.
Butter optional...but you really don't need any its so good.
The trick is to use a new galvanized trash can...unless you prefer dumpster diver seasoning.
