Garret 1350 vs Tesoro Vaquero PLEASE HELP!

Okay i got a offer for a garret 1350 for 300$ is this a good price? also i got a offer for a tesoro vaquero for 350$ will someone please compare these machines tell me pros and cons of both! nobody has been responding to my post btw thanks for all the help you guys here at treasurenet

Probably not a bad price for either. I would go with the Tesoro personally, but if you feel you just have to have a screen then might not be for you.

I would go with the Tesoro Vaquero and skip the Garrett.

I agree. Vaquero is a great machine, easier to use than its big brother, the Tejon and depth must not be underestimated as you can hypertune and squeeze out even more.

I started with a Vaquero and moved in the water with a surf PI, my wife now uses the Tesoro and has a great time. It's very light and finds things deep, just be prepared to dig a lot of stuff.

Tesoro definitely. I was so impressed with my Compadre that I bought a Vaquero as well and I've never looked back!
