Hi all. Ok, recently downgraded from my PI detecting due to a severe diagnosis with my back. Picked up a never used Terra 705. Tried it today and its nice.
But was reading about the 24k! I have used, yeah not listed on my machines but I just listed my mains and used many others. After reading on the 24k I'm impressed, especially the increase at the coil voltage wise and the better Ground tracking.
All I really want to know to tip me 24k wise is this. Does it use the same shaft assembly as the GMT? Reason is im very tall, have a crap back badly, very bad but I want to keep going as long as I can, and kept a Whites Tall Man stem which I used on my 5000 GPX and fits great on the Terra.
Does the Garrett use the same lower shaft as the GMT please?
The Garrett/Whites 24k looks pretty good VLF wise. Any input would be hugely appreciated.
Cheers.

Ahh, ok. (Talking to self here) Im told they do have the same shafts. I think I might get one if the budget allows after our move in several weeks time. 👍
