Garrett ACE 250 OR the Teknetics 4000

I am thinking of upgrading from my BH Tracker IV to a Garrett 250 OR the Teknetics 4000. Which one would be the best bang for the buck? I like to hunt coins/jewelry and relics on occasion. I can get the 250 for $213.00 locally and the 4000 for $279.00 locally. Thoughts?

hey Thunderbolt,

If you have to have a VID, I would go with 4000, just because, for me, I can't stand all the noise of the ACE 250, it sounds like an ice cream truck. but if you don't have to have a VID, I would go with a Tesoro Silver umax, it's just a couple bucks more and you get a lot more detector in in depth and better disc. along with the fact that it only beeps when you get a target.

Thanks guys. I really like the delta too. I've seen the ace 250 and it is real nice but something about the delta appeals to me more. Never been around the 350 but it seems like a nice machine also.
