Garrett ace 350 any good?

I picket up an ace 350 with a sniper search coil as an extra along with the orig. like new and the guy went to the AT Pro. I have $210 in it and he said it was a deal. It was the kit. Bag tool headphones ect. Did I do goo or get robbed?

It's sort of like this Steve s........If you own a Garrett 150 or ace 250, the guy with the 350 figures he bought a better detctor than the guy with one of the other two. Then one of the other guys finds a great old coin, ring, cache, or something cool and suddenly the guy with the 350 wonders if he could have done just as well with one of the cheaper models.
If you are hunting with your 350 and your coil sweeps over that valuable ring, coin or whatever, you will hear a good tone and dig it up, (as long as you don't have it discriminated out).
