Garrett AT Max First Week

So i just completed about 25 hours with my AT Max.
So let me tell you how it went...
As a long time AT Pro user I had high expectations for the Max — so let’s start with the disappointments....

I received the AT Max last Friday and I immediately put it together and took off for the park and balanced it straight up and turned it on and then I sat on a park bench to watch the magic....!!!

After a few minutes nothing— no little Roomba treasure gathering drones released themselves from the unit and searched the ground... awwwww
ground balance !!! DUH

After performing a ground balance I set it up and still no treasure gathering drones —
well now that my extremely high expectations have been smashed I turned the headphones on and swung the coil and waited...
No treasure targeting laser!

So i lowered my expectations again—

So after a week i found a
Shield Nickel
Buffalo Nickel
A few horseshoes
1912 wheat back penny
about a hundred different caliber gun shells
20 or 30 different caliber lead shot
Old token
Pet tags for rabies etc


and lots of junk

Could you have done just as well with the AT Pro?

so i do not watch the hoover boys however — nothing i found with the Max could not have been found with the pro—

is it sensitive ? yes
is it deeper ? yes

but everything i found was within a few inches of the surface
