if you run the AT Pro very simply.... it runs like an ACE 350 on steroids... if you want to run it more complex and are a seasoned detectorist, switch to Pro Mode. Pro Mode lets you hear the rolling tones of items and the sound based on depth. It's really awesome! if you really want to have some fun and are in an area with high iron, it has an iron-mode you can also turn on while running it and it tones in all the iron and I have picked coins... on edge..... under iron with the Pro Mode and iron audio = on. PLUS it's waterproof! tested mine in the surf of North Carolina beaches.
