These are Suspender clips, and you'll probably never find any two that are the same.

OUCH! - if they were garter belt clips -

But, they look like suspender clips to me, also.

chatking, you won't see these for sale currently.  They were used before the turn-of-the-century.  Similar to heel plates, toe taps, watch fobs, and the like.

Here is a photo.  These are the suspender clips I've found this year so far.  I have 15 more years worth, but I don't want to dig them out and photograph them to post.

The clip that is in the top row, third from the left-hand-side is a mens' sock-garter clip.

Best Wishes,

Buckleboy

Look at the last buckle on this page: http://www.patternsoftime.com/products.asp?cat=31&pg=5

Not the same as yours, but pretty similar....

Here's another link: http://americancord.thomasnet.com/v...uckle-safety-buckles/safety-buckle-wire-frame

Another: http://www.longago.com/victorianmen.html
Wire Frame Safety Buckles
1" wire frame safety buckles for pants' back cinch belts or waistcoats (vests).
Period correct, functional, and safe (locking bar over prongs)
These are hard to find and stronger than the "vest buckles" available at most fabric stores.

LAF-BCKL........$1.00 each

Just one more: http://www.venacavadesign.co.uk/Pro...aistcoat_Buckles.html?wlsess=780919bbf0bc7b44
Wire Frame Safety Waistcoat Buckles

Nice finds,
Annmarie

Big up's to Buckleboy and Ron and Ann. Thank you all!! I'm happy, but what I would like to see is....... Buckles/Clips with details like the ones I have or have found. I will be like Nick and mail them to you if anyone can find a similar item. Very/Quite similar. I cant find the shizzle?!

As I said in my first post on your thread--you will likely NOT be able to find two that are the same.  All of mine from this year are different (the photo above).  All mine from last year are different from each other--AND different from those I found this year...and so on and so forth.  Every time I think I'm getting a duplicate, I realize they're different.

So...apply this to you wanting to see the EXACT same suspender clip.  You won't, most likely.  Only two identical ones I've ever heard of were two from the same site that somebody posted here on the forum--probably a matching pair owned at one time by a single individual.

It kinda defies logic, but that's my experience.
