gb 2 coil

Hello.
Newbie to the forum.
I have a goldbug 2 with an 5x10 coil,
I would like to use it on the beach.
Q is their a larger dd coil available to get a little more depth?

The larger coil will get more depth, but more importantly it will cover more area per sweep, hence the improved percentage of increasing your finds. Note that the Gold Bug will work ok in the dry sand but may go crazy in the wet.

The GB 2 won't work on black sand, great on wet or dry sand. Don't waist your money trying a different coil; just keep digging in the dry areas and on the fringes of the wet. The larger coils are only good in areas that the targets are not close together. And we don’t find many areas like that in a beach or urban setting.
