My oldest coin to-date was recovered today, a George III penny - no date, but was issued in 1806. Other notable finds were a 1944P war nickel, an 1899 IHP, three wheats (1919, 1925 and 1935), and part to a pewter spoon handle marked 'C. Parker'; Parker joined Perkins in 1860, so this piece would appear to pre-date 1860. George III penny is between 32 and 33 millimeters in diameter and width of rim is 2 millimeters.
