ready and waiting, they are saying beach erosion on Sat and Sun, hope so
Just be careful :hello2:

You know it... sat and watched for an hour or so... headin out wed. probably... wifey has to work, so bachelor pad... :headbang:

I'll be somewhere, just watching the weather for the next couple days...

I dont know, not looking like very good surf hunting conditions....

".Wednesday...Northeast winds 13 to 18 knots becoming 12 to 15 knots.
seas 4 to 6 feet. Intracoastal waters choppy in exposed areas.
slight chance of showers.
.Wednesday night...Near shore...Northeast winds 10 to 13 knots
becoming East Northeast 5 to 8 knots. In the Gulf Stream...Northeast
winds 12 to 15 knots becoming East Northeast 9 to 12 knots. Seas
3 to 5 feet. North Northeast swell 2 feet. Intracoastal waters a
moderate chop. Slight chance of showers."

East wind with a North/Northeast swell is gonna make for some really nasty waves and rip.....

The winds will not be strong but the waves should be high from the hurricane offshore. As far as I can remember, if the hurricane is strong enough, the waves will beat up the shore when they reach it.

The window of opportunity will be small, as is usually the case with these storms.

Hopefully the storm will move a little closer than projected.

The last big one to hit here was 1986 Gloria plus 1991 the Halloween Storm there is plenty of sand that needs to be washed out and then maybe some good finds :hello2: Dd60
