"Get Together" 3 today nets a seated.
Well we got around to having another "Get Together" hunt. BigfootOkie, Burdie, and myself made a long trip north for the 3rd goaround in the series. Unfortunately we were missing two from the group. Freak on a Lesche had to work, and of course our good buddy Joemoto(RIP) is got a lot better places to hunt now.
We had several good finds today. A video was made and the only full dig video was on my oldest coin for today. This 1886 seated dime.
I did get a little bit excited, no J I didnt puke, but I did holler a little. Lol
We all had good finds today. Burdie and BigfootOkie had some stellar finds in the metal arrowheads and artifacts department. Hopefully they will get them posted.
Here is mine. Now the artifact on the right with the scrollwork, we believe may have come off of an old flintlock musket.
I also found several dropped round balls and a button but it needs cleaning.
I have a couple of nonmetal finds first being what I think is some raw turquoise.
I have never found or seen any before. The smaller piece looks like a bead. If anyone knows it isn't sound off.
The last of my nonmetal finds was this. It is rock and is flat on the other side. I have only found one other in my life. Anybody want take a guess?

Well again the guys and I had a blast! We will have to wait till next spring before we can go back to this location. I can't say how much I enjoyed today's outing with Burdie and my great hunting buddy BFO. Those two guys are a hoot. It was nice to see Burdie get to finally hunt, cause that man put his heart into the CTH this year.
