Getting Boxes Full of CWRs, Should I Be Worried???

Hello All,

Last week I got four boxes full of CWRs from my supply banks that are in the flat 5x10 boxes (usually NF String rolls). One of the boxes was a monster that produced my second most keepers in a box ever ([18] 40%ers and [1] 1951 Ben) but the other three boxes were clearly someone's dumps (re-rolled yellow NF String wrappers). This week the CWRs continued with my two Brinks Boxes (5x5x2) as well. In the last 8 months of getting boxes only one box has been full of CWRs and now six boxes in a row. I like the idea of machine wrapped rolls because there is an inherent tamper-resistant quality to them. :tongue3:

I don't mind getting boxes of CWRs like the monster box I got last week but I am not sure that is the norm. What is going on here? Is Brinks and Loomis getting lazy or are they out of wrapped boxes and will they be ordering a big silver-filled shipment of halves from the Fed soon

I think you should look through all the boxes you get regardless of the wrappers.

It's strictly a $$$ saving process on their part.

I do look through all of the rolls even though I know they are someone's dumps as 40%ers get missed all the time...just not sure what is going on here! :thumbsup:

Most likely its a bank that has a company wide vault for your area but brinks picks up and delivers for them. I had several like that last year that produced when i was sure it was dumps. Turns out its just bank wrapped or customer wrapped put into a box.
