Went out free styling today on the Massachusetts- New Hampshire border, found a few odds and ends but I did get this giant brass almost hinge looking thing that was over a foot down in what used to be a farm field. Anyway, it looks like it has wear from some repeated use but what gets me is the notch in the back side. It’s old as you can still see filing marks from when it was manufactured and it has a slight curve where the two screw holes are and it’s thick so I don’t think it’s damage.
Any guesses?? There will be prizes.
Thanks for watching
