Went out after work to one of my old sites. Being it's been hit pretty hard by me in the past, I decided today I would dig anything. My second target was an awfull sounding one, bounced from iron nail up to a quarter. But a consistent bounce, so I dug it. My first gold ring and a good one at that. Stamped Tiffany & CO with some kind of reddish image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgstone. Really dark gold so maybe 18, 22k? Gonna take it to a jeweler to check. Thanks for looking, Mike

Beautiful ring, looks to be on the older side. With the Tiffany stamp, I am sure it is higher karat too.

Sweet!..Might have been some iron in the soil working against your detector, maybe that's why it was still there..Congrats on an excellent recovery, Nice looking ring too.

Still wondering about the stone though, can a ruby be polished and not cut?

Bet you dig everything gong forward. Nice find!

SWEET!! Way to dig those iffy signals..while I have yet to locate my first gold ANYTHING...I have been trying. Digging tons and tons of pull tabs, can slaw, etc..but have not struck gold yet. Congrats! great find...ddf

Beautiful ring man..it does look a bit older. Stone could be a Garnet.

Great find!!

Wow.... now that is a good one. Just something about it......... way cool. The Tiffany & Co would sure lead me to believe the stone should be a bit more on the high dollar side.

Very Nice!!

Can't wait to see what you find out about this ring, look more closely for a Kt. mark, usually opposite of the Tiffany mark, almost all of Tiffany pieces are marked with the Kt.

The stone could be carnelian, Tiffany made many Victorian pieces with carnelian in them.
