Can't help with the I.D.,, but it is a good sized target.
Bet that disc blew your ears out.
Congrats and good luck with the I.D.

It sure did, a very loud high pitched signal. The football field is surrounded by farm land on all sides. Obviously it's been deep ploughed some time in the past. Robert.

Found lead like that before, not bronze. Not done any research but I'm guessing your near a metal working site & this is part of the refining process?

Not lead Cru, loosely calling it bronze, it's probably full of all sorts of metal.:laughing7:

Congrats Rob! With the additional pics sure looks like! I agree with Cru, if things are similar to ours on the continent. Metal working site wich would be great, because you have farmland around you probably can detect as well or part of a stash of ingots. Random loss is rare, offering an ingot is not confirmed.

I know its not lead & doesn't look lead,(or bronze) 1 of the reasons I called it a metal working site.
