Has anyone of you had your pinpoint button jam? It stays flat and has no curvature to the button and keeps switching from normal to pinpointing at times.

Not seen this issue with mine. My pinpoint button and all others been mashed loads. Hundreds of times. My unit not the prettiest. It still works.

sounds like the button is collapsed, pry need to warranty it...

I have seen one other Equinox user post the same issue but it happened early on and he went through 2 equinoxes. I guess he was pretty hard the button which is just a simple membrane switch and can eventually fail after significant repeat usage.

All electronics fail eventually. I saw a guy this spring using an antique Nautilus detector. Those old machines were some good ones.
