I have four wheat pennies that are questionable on date due to either corrosion or whatever else might be on there. Just out of curiosity is there something that I could use that would possibly have me a better chance of getting a date? Does anybody have a home remedy or something?

I had 3 real bad wheats last season that I could not get a date from, I put them in a small pill bottle with some olive oil for about 1 year. The olive oil turned a blueish green and after I pulled them out and patted them dry with a paper towel, I could read 2 of the 3. Olive oil works, it just takes time.
