GOLD #4 for 2011 is 14K ring

Finally found Gold -been on the hunt since April when I found #3.

Perseverance - No Ifs, ands, or butts - this was sheer belief that I could find Gold. My first three items - (2 class rings and a necklace) of the year were all found in the same location - Finally able to have the data to back up that low discrimination and a lot of work = GOLD!

I will post later the collection of everything I pulled out of the ground since gold Ring #3 - its enough to make one cry!

Huge congrats on your fourth gold this year! While you were digging that nice ring yesterday, all I dug was a Hot Wheels car, lol. I've found a silver pendant and silver ring, so somewhere around here my bits of gold are waiting --- til I work harder and find them. Andi

Like I said I had dug a lot of everything {can slaw, foil, aluminum, junk jewelry, pull tabs -round and square, pencil tops, keys, and Misc metal (brass, copper, aluminum -cast/alloy,Iron,Stainless steel, etc.....)} between #3 gold necklace and #4 gold ring between April, May, and June. I started out in my favorite locations but burned out of all the can slaw so I moved onto a different location type which finally spit out Gold - I would say there is probably close to 500 to 600 targets. I may count for statistical purposes - anyone fare to guess how many targets there are?

942 retrievable targets as seen in the picture. - above discrimination level 2 on my machine which is a small ball of foil and above.

maybe it´s a 1000 targets per gold item found - I had 240 pull tabs and 213 can slaw in this run between gold.

All my metal´s processed in my different recycle buckets and clads in tumbler.

Time for Bed!
