GOLD AND SILVER FOR FROGGY

Too much of a good thing this weekend. Spent a lot of time in the water Friday (10 hours) and Saturday (8 hours). I discovered that there is a point of diminishing returns. Both gold finds came early each day when my technique and strength was really good and as time wore on and I got tired, my search techniques became sloppy and lazy. I started giving up on deep digs when sand would fall back in the hole over and over because I couldn't recover and dig fast enough, my coil control sucked, etc. I believe about 4 hours at one time in the water max is it for me each day from here on out. Also, I believe I need a better scoop. I am going for a monster scoop on the next purchase. I bought a nice one but should have gone bigger.

Froggy got rewarded with a 10k etched wedding band and a really old 14k wedding band and a .925 silver toe ring which gave a gold signal I guess because it was made of wiry strands of silver.

Other items included four junk rings, a nice lighter, one of the new gold colored President's Dollar Coins, several junk ear rings.

Where are all the hunters? I am not seeing any posts on here!

Nice finds there Chief.

I went to Daytona Beach Saturday, but was only able to find one clad ring, a short broken length of chain with clasp to a silver braclet or necklace, a compass, and clad coins.

Looks like I should have gone where you did.
