Gold and Stainless today

Went out to test my new detector this afternoon while the water was calm and tide going out. Got a lot of chatter with the new detector so I put it in the car and took out "Old Betsy". Not many signals but enough to stay entertained for awhile. As I was getting ready to come out I got a nice signal. Surprise!! It was a 7.8gr 14kt. gold man's ring with 7 diamonds. Not too bad of a day, 1 gold, 1 stainless, 1 silver stud ear ring and a junk bracelet.
Need to try different settings on my new detector next week and see if the chatter in the salt water can be eliminated.

if the ring is 7.8gr then these diamonds could be relatively ok

take any good soap, and clean it will an old toothbrush and take a new picture, curious to see how the ring will change

Old Betsy is a 1993 NY Sword Excal with the old horseshoe coil. It with is supersensitive, goes deeper than my Excal ll, it has acted this way in the past year and a half. Don't know what's wrong but I think it's on it's last leg.
