My 157DayGold Dry Spell Broke Today with this soccer field find 14K 6 Diamonds 14.6 grams man's ring. I hunt mostly Beach and shallow water. But have been trying to get the hang of my New Sovereign GT. Today I wandered to the soccer field I have hunted on occasion. The amount of trash is amazing so I started to dig numbers on the meter that have come to be a coin.The first hr produce several pennies and a couple of clad dimes and quarters and trash. I really wanted to get the pin pointing down with the 10 inch coil. I moved to the other side and started towards the sideline of the older field. I passed up several targets that just were too scratchy and were low foil numbers. About 6 feet from the corner I got a solid 177 on the meter today that was coming up penny. This was the first target I dug since moving. I cut the flap and pull back the grass the target was still in the hole. I dug it up a little and pull a hang full of dirt out. I checked the hole with the pin pointer, nothing? Dug some more nothing checked again nothing. Looked at the little pile of dirt and then saw the ring sticking out. I push the pin pointer at it and there she was. Check out the pictures. It was worth the wait. I am stoked. Oh ya I dug every signal in a 40 foot area. Look at that trash pile!

WTG I do the same thing. Yesturday I found the first wheatie of the season and dug 20' around the area. Junk Junk and Yes More Junk. But I did find a merc as well...

Update on the ring. Had two jewelers look at it today. First one said it was worth 700 scrap with the diamonds! I said no thanks,but before I left he offered me 1250.00. I took it to a second jeweler and he told me 500 scrap and offered me 1000. The first one thought the diamonds were set in Platinum. But would need to check before he bought it.The top 1/16th looks to be Platinum! I am going to get a written appraisal. I have no intentions of selling. I been doing this for 38 yrs. This is by far my best ring find ever! It fits.
