I live in campsbellsville ky , does anyone know if there is any gold in my neck of the woods

I don't believe Kentucky has many documented gold occurances except in the extreme northern counties.
Glaciers supposedly didn't make it far enough past the Ohio river.
Gold is not always convenient, I drive 2 hours to dredge.
Don't be afraid to travel, OH, WV, VA, GA just to name a few states near Ky with gold

Have you tried the website Treasure Legends? Might be something that was left behind. I read somewhere that military records from the Civil War could be researched for paymaster funds not making it to the soldiers. No one knows if the gold and silver near Kelly's Ford, the Brandywine, Culpepper VA was ever found.
